Minushi no Himemiko (or sometimes called "Mowitori no Himemiko") is a daughter of Emperor Tenchi and Kurohime no Iratsume, whose father is Kurikuma no Tokoma.
Her detailed biography is not recorded. Ishikawa no Myobu's poem collected in Man'yoshu is all that records on Minushi no Himemiko in the history. In that poem, the Empress Dowager Gensho ordered Ishikawa no Myobu to compose it to express her hope of Minushi no Himemiko's recovery from illness. It was a few years before Minushi no Himemiko's death.
水主皇女（「みぬしのひめみこ」または「もいとりのひめみこ」）は天智天皇と栗隈徳方の娘・黒媛娘との間の娘である。
彼女に関する詳細な経歴は記録されておらず、晩年、病気になったとき、元正太上天皇が水主皇女のために石川命婦に詠ませた見舞いの歌が万葉集に残されているのみとなっている。
