Tono Zuka & Hime Zuka, Chiba
千葉・殿塚及姫塚
Hokoji Temple, located at Misakimachi Iwakuma, Isumi, Chiba, has two tombs named "Tono Zuka (Man's Tomb)" and "Hime Zuka (Women's Tomb)" near its site of a cathedral. A folklore says that Takechi no Miko was buried in Tono Zuka, and Towochi no Himemiko in Hime Zuka. People say that the two fell in love with each other.
千葉県いすみ市岬町岩熊にある法興寺の伽藍跡の近くに「殿塚」と「姫塚」という古墳がある。「殿塚」には高市皇子、「姫塚」には十市皇女が眠っていると民話は伝える。
